The epic journey of Express Lines.
Built from hands-on driving experience, shaped by two decades of Midwest freight, and driven by a commitment to safety, communication and dependable service.
Founded by a driver, for the road ahead.
In 2005, Alex Goroshko founded Express Lines — fueled by five years of firsthand experience behind the wheel. The company began with the humble yet vital task of transporting produce from Salinas, California, to New York's Hunts Point Market. This was more than hauling goods; it was an education in becoming a dependable and safe carrier, navigating the many complications that shape the trucking industry.
From day one, the company was built on respect for the driver's perspective — because the founder had lived it.

Building partnerships, shifting to the Midwest.
The company forged valuable partnerships with industry leaders including CH Robinson, Landstar and TQL. In 2008, embracing the dynamic nature of the trucking industry, Express Lines made a strategic move to the Midwest, transitioning to dry van freight — a decision that would define the next chapter of the company.
In 2009, Express Lines explored freight brokerage as a diversification strategy. However, the company recognized the challenges this expansion posed for a dedicated, compact team and made the disciplined decision to refocus entirely on trucking operations — the true cornerstone of the business.
